1943 Established as the Mihara Rolling Stock Works for the production of steam locomotives and air brakes
1955 Renamed the Mihara Machinery Works
1956 Started the production of converting machinery
1962 Started the production of printing presses
1966

Delivered the first newspaper offset press

1989 Established the world’s first paper related product research facility “Paper and Printing? Research Center”
1991

Built Printing Press Assembly Shop in Wadaoki Plant

1996 Obtained ISO9001 certification for six main models
1999 Obtained ISO14001 certification for environmental management system
2000

Reorganized into the Paper & Printing Machinery Division and the Machinery Headquarters Mihara Machinery & Transportation Systems Works (From April 1)

2003

Began marketing EVOL ― new high speed box-making machine

2006 Established “Beijing Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Beiren Printing Machinery Co., Ltd.” in China
2007

Launched the DIAMOND V3000 series sheet-fed offset presses

2008 Delivered the 10,000th Mitsubishi sheet-fed offset press
2010 Established Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Printing & Packaging Machinery, Ltd.
2014 Sheet-fed offset press business operated by RYOBI MHI Graphic Technology Ltd.
